Heelless shoes fashion trend
To an untrained eye, furla candy bag, some of the shoes coming down a runway at Paris Fashion Week look like unfinished products but Jean Paul Gaultier's heelless booties are well-thought-out showstoppers.
Fashion coinsurers watched as models teetered inches from the floor missing a footwear essential- the heel. While the perilous shoes are fun to ogle, giuseppe zanotti heels, the style hasn't taken off yet much outside of Hollywood.
An enormous crowd gathered outside of Macy's in New York to see Victoria Beckham take the plunge in 5 ½ inch Antonio Berardi latex boots when it was time to launch her and husband David Beckham's new fragrance.
"They are graceful and there is a ballerina nature about them. Having a heel is really just psychological, giuseppe zanotti sneakers," says Beradi.
Lady Gaga made more of a bang when she paraded through London's Heathrow Airport wearing skyscraper Noritaka Tatehana invisible heel boots. Buzzing paparazzi caught the "Born This Way" songstress tumbling from the 9 inch platform shoes after losing her footing.
Tokyo based designer Tatehana told MTV the inspiration behind Gaga's contraptions:"I am interested in history and in the old culture and would like to divert them into modern world. The unique and creative shape comes from 'Kan Pokkuri, giuseppe zanotti sale,' which used to be clogs made of empty cans. In the old days, cheap giuseppe zanotti, Japanese children used to make these clogs, passing a cord through holes made in the cans. After placing each foot on a can, they tried to walk, giuseppe zanotti shoes, holding the cord in their hands."
"Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale isn't known for being a fashion risk taker but she surprised everyone at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards in a revealing glitzy frock and black heelless Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.
There's still time to get in on this season's shoe trend but are you wondering how to get these high-fashion accessories on a low budget? Vintage retailer NASTY GAL has Magic Leopard Platform Heels for $118 which resembles Tatehana's avant-garde footware that sells for $2,furla bags,500-4,000 a pair. Another option is the Jeffrey Campbell Night Walk shoe for $169.95 available at Envi Shoes.
Be sure to check out Diane Davis of StyleList who profiles Tatehana's platforms and discovers the heelless wonders are not as arduous as they seem and actually get the foot doctor's seal of approval too.Related articles?
