Jack's Health

Just wondering if anyone knows how Jack is feeling. He looked like he was hurting when he was in Chicago last month. Hoping he's ok.

Did anyone go to any of the past days concerts (according to the tour plan they played in UT on the 9th and VA on the 10th)? I will see them in 2½ weeks, and I am wondering how Jack is doing after his latest surgery last week.

When I saw them in Wheeling he was sitting rather than standing. I suppose that's not a good sign. But like the trooper he is, he made it through the set without complaining about any pain he might be in

He used a chair tonight in Biloxi, MS as well. It was heartbreaking to see him not feeling well, but the man can still sing. God has blessed him with a set of pipes. Get well soon Jack!

Concerning Jack's health, I saw this video from a show on June 11th: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqZyrU66Olo
Poor Jack, it must be so frustrating to be forced to always sit down when performing, and then falling when trying to move around. :(

I've been told (today) by a guy whom I have reason to believe have been in touch directly with the band, that Jack is doing better now. I truly hope so. I can't even imagine what is must be like to have those back problems for such a long time.

Absolutely. I agree with you. I don't know the extent of Jack's back problems, but I do know my own. I've had sever back issues since I was in 2nd grade. It was much worse when I was younger, but I am doing much better with it these days. A lot of therapy while I was growing up and knowing my limits helped me quite a bit. I imagine Jack is probably going through something similar. It can be extremely frustrating when you are unable to do somethings. Like I used to be a gymnast. I can't flip on bars anymore, but in tern, you learn new things that you are able to do. For me, that is music and writing. For Jack, he is still able to do what he loves, which is perfoming. He just does it in a different way. And that is fine by me. I just want to see him happy and well. Best Wishes Jack. :)

Jack's health

He didn't sing last night at the Brixton. Band was great, felt sorry for the stand in singer. Guess not enough time to learn all the lyrics? Hope Jack feels better soon. To a speedy recovery Jack, we miss you.

I saw that on Facebook. Did they say anything about what was the problems with his health? His back, or his kidneys, or...?
I sure hope he feels better soon.

Btw, the stand in singer was Terry from XYZ. Great guy and great singer, but GW is not GW without Jack. I read that Jack had to undergo emergency surgery.

I saw the show on Aug 9th at the Broken Spoke Campground in Sturgis. They were scheduled to go on after Dokken, but for some reason they took the stage first. The sound was a little off and they had some feedback issues. Jack mentioned they did not get a sound check, could be because of going on first? It still was a good show though, vocals were great.

Jack mentioned the car accident and his broken back. Also that he has had two surgeries. The doctor told him to stay home and rehab, but he said F that! Being onstage is his rehab.

I did notice he didn't move very much at all and he needed help off the stage after the show.

Hope he can get back soon!

BTW I posted some pics in the gallery section if anyone wants to take a look.

Jack I just want to let you know how much of an inspiration you are to me and my wife. Seeing you rocking out on that chair is proof of how farGreat White has come since the tragedy in 03. I remember the days following the accident how many people were saying that Great White would never perform again...I myself lost a good friend at that show. We grew up listening to Great White, and formed a friendship that lasted through the ages. Sometimes I wonder why it wasn't me who was in that fire, why I chose not to go to that specific concert. But we survived for a reason, I believe that 100% Jack. Here we in 2010, and Great White is still the best band on the planet.

I'm continuing to think about Jack and his recovery from colon surgery. I imagine it's going to be a very painful recovery. I will continue to send good thoughts his way

It would be better if jack will continuously secure his health. An emergency surgery would be more appropriate for his possible recovery. We all wish for his fully recovery and probably make us all inspired.
