Attic, Greenville, NC Our names are Bobby and Cheri Wells and we live in Washington, NC. We have been fans of Great White for many years. Unfortunately for us, Great White has not toured eastern NC in quite some time, so it's been almost five years since we've had the pleasure of attending one of their shows. We've attached several photos from a show in April 1995, at the Attic, in Greenville, NC. The show was wonderful as always! The Attic is a fairly small club (capacity of 650), but you would have thought they were playing to 6500. Great White packed the house and had it ROCKIN' !! They opened with a thundering "Move It". The show also included: "Face The Day", "Rock Me", "Gonna Getcha", "Hiway Nights", "House of Broken Love", "Call It Rock N' Roll", "Can't Shake It", "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You", "Sail Away", "Old Rose Motel", "Maybe Someday", "Big Goodbye", "Never Trust A Pretty Face", an encore of "Congo Square" and "Once Bitten Twice Shy", and a second encore of "Gone With The Wind". They had the Crowd absolutely ecstatic!! After the show, the band hung around outside of the club to greet the fans. As always they welcomed fans to take photographs, and receive autographs or just talk and swap stories, if that's what they wanted. I've had the pleasure to meet each member several times and have always been treated very well, as have the other fans. I must say however, at this show I was particularly impressed with Michael Lardie's memory. I attended a show at The Longbranch, in Raleigh, NC, in September of 1994. After the show I presented each member with an air brushed T-shirt, incorporating Great White with my cartoon characters "Moe" and "Modine". They all raved over the art work and thought it was so cool! Well, as the story goes, when my wife and I attended the Greenville show mentioned above, we carried 11 x 14 photos of each T-shirt to have autographed by the band. When we approached Michael to have him autograph the photo of the shirt that I had given him, he immediately looked at it and said "WOW! It's Moe! I've got this at home now. But you didn't give these to us here in Greenville. It was at the Longbranch in Raleigh." I was so impressed that he would remember the details like that. As the conversation carried on, Michael was impressed with the traveling that I'd done to see Great White, as have've been to Greensboro, which is about a 4 hour drive, Raleigh on several occasions, which is a 2 1/2 hour drive, and then Greenville. Mark informed me that he had lost his shirt somewhere on the road. He then asked me if we would have a copy of the photo made and mail it to him. He said that he'd love to hang it on his wall, but didn't know if his wife would go for it. "Modine might be a little too sexy and revealing." Anyway, we had a most fabulous time and hope to do it again soon! Thanks for the memories!
